We are Inez and Ian, a German-American couple living in Alfter, near Bonn. We are parents to two wonderful kids, love staying active, and enjoy spending time outdoors in nature.
Beyond that, both of us have been involved with the topic of brain tumors in various ways for decades, and we are deeply passionate about supporting others who are navigating this journey.
That’s why on June 8, 2026 - World Brain Tumor Day - we officially founded KopfSache alongside a fantastic team of supporters.
Our goal is to connect people facing this diagnosis and to create welcoming spaces where knowledge, personal experiences, and practical everyday advice can be shared.

My name is Julia, and I am 43 years old.
I live with my husband and my two boys in Bornheim-Roisdorf. In my free time, I enjoy reading, doing sports, and spending time with my family. Together with Fariba, I take care of the financial affairs of Kopfsache e.V.
I am Fariba, 36 years old, and I have been living in Germany since 2017.
I live in Bonn together with my husband and my daughter. I completed a bachelor's degree in accounting in Iran and finished further training in the field of financial accounting in Germany. Therefore, I am happy to support Julia with the financial affairs of Kopfsache e.V.
